These are what makes Abbiocco Pizza a must try.
Abbiocco  is a new pizza joint on the local restaurant landscape, located on Taylor St, Woodbrook, offering an impressive line up of mind blowing Wood Fired Pizzas.
Pizza has always been one of my favourite food groups since childhood and has only intensified into adulthood!
I really enjoyed my two samplings. Prosciutto e Funghi with Abbiocco specialty cheeses, proscuitto, signature tomato sauce, mushrooms and arugula.
Then the Steak and Red Wine Pizza which includes a garlic Parmesan cheese base, ground seasoned steak, red wine purple onion reduction and sun dried tomatoes.
The truth is I now want to try most of the Pizzas on the menu. Head Chef Josh Alexander took his creations out of the box and conceptualized some amazing pizzas with sexy ingredients that will tickle and excite the palette.
Imagine Hog and Apple Pizza with rendered crispy pork, mint, cognac apples and grated parmesan!
Then there is the Mediterranean Lamb, a pesto base with lamb, figs, goat cheese and pickled red onions. There are also tempting choices for the seafood pizza enthusiasts.
 Abbiocco is an Italian for Itis !!!!!
Abbiocco just reopened with a brand new menu including some of these familar pizzas as well as new additions and a cocktail bar.
