JUS JASE: Soca on the Seas creating waves

He is dubbed the Trini Technican, T&T’s most dangerous DJ!
Jason Alleyne known in the music and entertainment world as Jus Jase was the host of the Soca on the Seas – The Ultimate Caribbean Escape.
Jase has over 30 years in the DJ business, and is one of the most multi-faceted and diverse Disc Jockeys in the Caribbean and also has made a name for himself as an entertaining radio personality on the airwaves.
Every night, Jase kept the vibes right up, ensuring the Soca on Seas ‘posse’ was pumped and always in party mode.
This was his first time hosting Soca on the Seas and he admitted, “This was baptism by fire. I’m accustomed during Carnival week doing show after show, but strategically able to rest my voice and go again, but I have been going non-stop on this ship, its been crazy, but it is so much good vibes.”
Jase recalled the first time he went out to represent Soca as a DJ, “It was back in 1998, I was chosen to do an all soca event in London, I realized back then the power of soca, I was able then to appreciate fully what our artform brings to the table, and now after all those years seeing it evolve to the point where a cruise ship is highlighting Soca 24/7 for not only us as West Indians, but all the international tourists just makes me so proud.”
He added, “This is ground-breaking stuff and I can only see Soca on the Seas going leaps and bounds, from strength to strength, taking soca all around the world and I am just so happy to be part of it.”
