BACON & CHEESE HASSLE BACK POTATOES – Chef Charlene

Ingredients
2 large potatoes
2 strips of turkey bacon or regular bacon, diced
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp of paprika
2 slices of American cheese
Chopped basil for garnish
Cranberry sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees F.
- Stir together olive oil, garlic salt and paprika in a bowl set aside.
- Place potatoes between the chopsticks or handles of two wooden spoons, slice the potato into thin slices the spoon handles would prevent you from slicing the potatoes all the way through.
- Between layers add slices of turkey bacon and pour oil mixture over.
- Put the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake until tender about 45 min
- Remove from oven put slices of cheese over potatoes and bake for an additional 15min serve with veggies.
- Garnish with basil cranberries and cranberry sauce.
