2 – 4 Meats by Linz Burger Patties 

A few pinches of salt 

A few pinches black pepper

A few slices of cheese 

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

Tomato slices


For the Onions: 

1 large yellow or regular onion, cut in slices

2 tsp oil

Pinch of salt and black pepper

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Few dashes pepper sauce, optional


  1. Make the onions. Heat a heavy frying pan over medium high heat, add oil. Add the onions and cook for 1 – 2 minutes. Season with a little salt and black pepper. Add the balsamic vinegar and pepper sauce if using and mix well. Let cook for a few more minutes until the onions are tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Heat a large frying pan over high heat. Add oil.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on both side of the Linz patties. When pan is smoking hot sear patties 2 - 3 minutes on one side; then flip patties onto the other side.
  4. Place some of the onions on top of the patty, followed by a slice of cheese over the onions. Cover the pan and allow the burgers to cook for another 2/3 minutes or until cheese melts.
  5. Build your Burger with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, and mustard. Serve and enjoy.
