BEEFY TACO BOWLS ft Angus Eve & James Saunders

Joel presents his guests Angus and James with a delicious beefy filling and toppings to assemble their own taco bowls with the help of Old El Paso.

Ingredients
1 box Old El Paso Soft Tortilla Bowls or Old El Paso Dinner Kit
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp green seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1 pack Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
1 can Old El Paso Refried Beans
1 can Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Toppings:
Chopped lettuce
Grated cheese
Chopped tomatoes
Diced avocado
Sour cream
Directions
- Season the ground beef with a little salt, black pepper, green seasoning and garlic. Let marinate for approximately half hour.
- Heat oil in large frying pan over high heat.
- Add the onion and cook for 1 – 2 minutes. Add the seasoned beef and let cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Add the Old El Paso Taco Seasoning and the Hunt’s Diced Tomatoes. Mix well.
- Add ½ can of the Old El Paso Refried Beans. Mix into the beef mixture. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 – 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- When the beef mixture is almost finished heat the tortilla bowls according to instructions.
- Serve by laying out the various toppings along with the heated tortilla bowls and beef mixture for your guests to assemble.
