CHILI GARLIC & HONEY WINGS

Ingredients
15 – 20 chicken wings, cleaned and cut in half
1 tbsp green seasoning
Few drops pepper sauce, optional
Salt and black pepper
2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp minced ginger
3 – 4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
Few tbsp water
1 tbsp oil
Garnish – sesame seeds, chopped parsley
Directions
- Season chicken wings with salt, black pepper, green seasoning and pepper sauce if using. Let marinate at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Place the wings in an even layer on a greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes, turning the wings halfway through baking. When cooked, remove from oven and set aside.
- Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium high heat.
- Add the ginger and garlic and cook for approximately 30 secs to 1 minute. Add the chili garlic sauce and stir into the ginger and garlic. Add the honey and a little water and let cook for another 1 – 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken wings to the sauce and toss well to evenly coat the wings with the sauce. Let heat through.
- Put the wings on a serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley. Serve.
