CHOCOLATE QUINOA BREAKFAST BOWL – Paola Henderson

Health coach Paola Henderson uses Regal Quinoa and an array of Regal Nuts and dried fruit to make this unique and satisfying breakfast treat.

Ingredients

1/4 cup Regal Quinoa (toasted and then cooked in water)

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

4 tablespoons plant protein powder

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter or peanut butter

1 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp honey or sweetener of your choice

Topping ingredients:

Fresh Fruit of your choice

Regal Nuts (almonds, walnuts)

Dehydrated Fruits (coconut, Regal Blueberries, goji berries etc)

Regal Pumpkin Seeds

Dark chocolate (for topping)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients into a small saucepan (minus the toppings and chocolate chips). Mix together until fully incorporated.
  2. Transfer to a bowl, top with your choice of toppings and chocolate chips, and enjoy!
