GEERA PORK BITES with CREAMY CHUTNEY SAUCE ft IT”S RAE

Joel makes these taste of home Geera Pork Bites for US based soca sweetheart It's Rae using the convenience of Macfoods.

Ingredients

1 pack Macfoods Geera Pork

2 tbsp oil

1 baguette, cut into thin diagonal slices

For the Creamy Chutney:

¾ cup mango chutney

¼ cup heavy cream

½ tsp geera powder

Pinch salt and black pepper

½ tsp pepper sauce

Directions

  1. Place the baguette slices in one layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for 3 – 5 minutes or just until toasted. Remove from oven and set aside.
  2. Add the Macfoods Geera Pork to a bowl and cut the larger pork pieces into bite sized chunks
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat.
    Add the pork pieces and cook, stirring intermittently for approximately 7 – 10 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.
  4. Meanwhile make the creamy chutney: Place the mango chutney in a saucepan over medium high heat. Let heat through. Add the heavy cream, geera, salt, black pepper and pepper sauce. Mix until well combined. Let bubble for approximately 30 seconds. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve with the pork chunks and toasted baguette slices.
