GUINNESS INFUSED BURGERS ft Wendell Manwarren

 

 

 

Ingredients

1 lb minced meat

½ – ¾ cup Guinness

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1½ tbsp green seasoning

Few dashes Worcestershire sauce

1 cup breadcrumbs

1 – 2 eggs

1 tsp pepper sauce (optional)

Cheese slices, Swiss or mozzarella

2 – 3 tbsp olive oil

Hamburger buns, cut in half

Lettuce

Tomato slices

Guinness Balsamic Mayo – optional

Directions

  1. Place meat in a large bowl.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients except the cheese and oil. Mix just until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Form into 4 large patties or 8 small ones. Place on a large platter and let marinate in refrigerator for at least half hour. Remove and let come to room temperature when ready to cook.
  4. Prepare and heat the grill.
  5. Place the burger patties on the hot grill leave for 3 - 4 minutes. Flip the burgers onto the other side and continue to grill for 4 – 5 minutes depending on desired doneness. Within the last 2 minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover allowing the cheese to melt.
  6. Place the burger buns, cut side down on the grill to toast. Remove the bread and build your burger with desired toppings.
