JERK BEEF KOFTAS – Chef Myles

Ingredients

Koftas

1 lb minced beef

1 small red onion, diced

2 tbsp Grace Jerk Seasoning

Salt and black pepper

Sauce:

½ cup ranch dressing

1 tsp Grace Jerk Seasoning

Oil for frying

Wooden skewers

Directions

  1. Mix the beef, Grace Jerk Seasoning, red onions, and a little salt and black pepper in a bowl. Shape the beef into log shapes and stick a skewer into the log (similar to a corn dog). Wrap individually in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove from the fridge when ready to cook.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Heat oil in a medium pan over high heat. Sear the koftas just to brown on all sides. Place on a baking tray and finish cooking in the preheated oven, approximately 15 – 20 minutes depending on the size of the koftas.
  4. Remove from oven and serve with the Jerk Ranch Dressing
  5. For the dressing - Combine the ranch dressing and the Grace Jerk Seasoning. Drizzle over the Beef Koftas or serve separately as a dip.
