SURF & TURF COLESLAW SANDWICHES
Ingredients
3 – 4 Kiss Jumbo Rolls
1 cup cooked chopped chicken
8 – 10 large, cooked shrimp, chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
1 tsp green seasoning
1 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp mustard
1 tsp lime juice
Few dashes Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper
Pinch of sugar
Pepper sauce, optional
2 tbsp diced onion
½ cup grated green cabbage
½ cup grated red cabbage
Lettuce
Tomato chunks
Directions
- Cut the Kiss Buns in half and lightly toast. Set aside.
- Mix together the mayonnaise, green seasoning, mustard, vinegar, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper. Add few dashes pepper sauce if using. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Mix in the chicken and shrimp. Add the onions and cabbage. Mix well.
- Spread a little mustard on the bottom half of the Kiss bun. Layer some lettuce over the mustard. Top with the salad, followed by tomato chunks. Cover with the top half of bread and serve.
