15 – 20 wonton skins

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

¼ cup melted butter or olive oil

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp red pepper chilli flakes

3– 4 blades shadon beni, minced


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Cut wonton skins into equal strips (either halves or thirds) and place on the baking sheet.
  3. Brush each strip with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with a little black pepper. Sprinkle each strip with some grated cheese, then red pepper flakes and shadon beni.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes for the wonton strips to get crisp and cheese to melt. Check halfway through to monitor cooking.
  5. Remove and serve.
