NUTTY BANANA SUNDAE
1 tub Creamery Novelties Grape Nut Ice Cream
1 tub Creamery Novelties Peanut Ice Cream
For the banana foster sauce:
2 – 3 ripe bananas, sliced
2 oz butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
Few dashes cinnamon powder
Pinch of salt
¼ cup rum
Toppings – whipped cream, cherries, waffle cone pieces, sprinkles
- Make the sauce. Melt the butter in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add the sugar and cinnamon, mixing well. Stir in the rum then add the bananas. Cook for another 1 – 2 minutes.
- Spoon a little of the banana foster sauce in the serving glass. Put 2 scoops of Creamery Novelties Peanut Ice Cream in the glass on top of the sauce, followed by 2 scoops of Creamery Novelties Grape Nut Ice Cream.
- Spoon more of the sauce over the ice cream. Garnish with chosen toppings and serve immediately.
