CHICKEN PESTO PIZZA

Ingredients

1 pack Betty Crocker Pizza Crust Mix

½ cup basil pesto

Toppings:

Grated cheddar cheese

Grated mozzarella cheese

Chopped cooked chicken (we used rotisserie chicken)

Sliced fresh button mushrooms

Halved cherry tomatoes or chopped tomatoes

Directions

  1. Make the Betty Crocker Pizza Crust Mix according to directions.
  2. When ready for use (about 5 minutes), preheat oven to 425 degrees F and lightly spray or grease a round baking sheet.
  3. Roll the dough into a thin circle (approx.12 inch) and place in prepared pan. You can also press out the dough directly on the pan.
  4. Spread a thin even layer of pesto on the dough. Top with a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheese, followed by the chicken, mushrooms and tomatoes.
  5. Bake in pre-heated oven for about 15 – 17 minutes.
  6. Remove and slice with a pizza cuter. Serve hot.
