1 tub (pint or 1 lt) Creamery Novelties Ice Cream (flavor of choice) 4 cups corn flakes cereal 1 1/2 cups crushed vanilla cookies 4 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 eggs, beaten Oil for frying
Using desired ice cream scoop size, scoop the Creamery Novelties Ice Cream and place in freezer until ready for coating.
Place corn flakes in a food processor and process to a coarse grind.
In a bowl combine corn flakes, crushed vanilla cookies, cinnamon, and set aside sugar.
Place beaten egg in a bowl for dipping.
Remove the Creamery Ice Cream from freezer and roll in the corn flakes mixture, then coat with the egg and finish with a second coating of corn flakes mixture. Place coated ice cream in the freezer at least 3 hours or preferably overnight.
Place oil in an saucepan allow to become hot (Tip: to test if your oil is hot enough place the end of a wooden spoon or skewer in the oil, once bubbles form around the base your oil is hot enough.
Remove ice cream one at a time from the freezer and fry until golden brown, remove quickly from hot oil and serve immediately.
It can be served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce or on its own: either way it’s delicious.
