SIMPLE PAN SEARED STEAK ft Nigel Rojas

Joel serves Nigel Rojas a steakhouse dinner using Meats by Linz with Creamed Patchoi and Spiced Mushrooms.

Ingredients
2 Meats By Linz Striploin Steaks
Salt and black pepper
1 tsp Linz Steak Seasoning
2 oz butter
1 – 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Season both sides of the striploin steaks with the Linz Seasoning and a little salt and black pepper.
- Heat oil in a sauté pan over high heat.
- Place the steaks in the hot pan and sear for 1 – 2 minutes. Flip onto the other side and sear for another 1 – 2 minutes on the other side. Add the butter to the pan while the steaks are searing on the other side and spoon the melted butter over the steaks.
- Place the pan with the steaks in the preheated oven and continue to cook just about 3 – 4 minutes for medium well or a bit shorter or longer for desired temperature.
- Remove from oven and place steaks on a cutting board. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving
